Liberty was established in 1978 by Gary Lee. At inception, Liberty was a sales office for Firstohm, Ltd., one of the largest resistor manufacturers in Taiwan . Through the years, Liberty expanded its product line with partnership factories located in Taiwan , Korea and Japan to provide quality electronic components at competitive prices.

Many of our competitors have moved on to China made components. At this time, Liberty does not sell components that are made in China due to the inconsistency in quality assurance. Our components are made in Taiwan , Korea and Japan under strict ISO9002:94 quality assurance standards.
